Sides, top and bottom, paint and assembly

Sorry about there being some gaps in the pictures in this section - the battery in my camera died while I was right in the middle of it. It's the same procedure here as with the previous Asus case - centre plates for the top and bottom with four corner pieces bolted to the frame of the case.


As you can see I've basically perforated the bottom piece so the PSU can breathe more easily.





And then a small engraving to finish it all off.

Paint and assembly

Both the Ares and Rampage III Extreme use red and satin black as a base, so that's what I'm using as well. After a trip to buy a load of paint and some wet and dry sanding paper, this is what I came up with.



The most important parts are now painted. I'll do the rest when these have been assembled. The front and I/O panel will be polished rather than painted though.
